All I was saying is that in a hypothetical case ...if by my praying for all the regular posters on SI ...of whom I consider friends...that tragedy comes upon them....then assume that my prayers brought it on them. I was not being insensitive. It is a very weird way that I express my anger when those that I care about and consider friends experience loss or tragedy. I have a very limited view of God and get my as my first reaction, mad it seems always when something happens that I consider not fair or just, or unreasonable.
It has been months since I have has a close encounter with the Almighty and after some long rancor on my part, in which I refused to listen to Him or really consider Him even politely...last night I prayed and just said I would not go away until He spoke to me....all I got as an answer was " Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the World " I am thankful for the answer and it truly led to a blessed day...those simple words.....I go visit this older homebound lady at times and I decided to go see her...came in the door and told her to go put on her jogging shoes and we would go on a 3 mile run...she giggled !!Stayed about 15 minutes and gave her a little present and left...she cried...but it felt good.....I did have a blessed day and I am truly thankful today and would like to thank the Lord publicly......
