You have ignored WWII's effect on taxes and the post war recession. Consumer debt was minimal and the will to solve the post war problems was huge.

Sorry, I thought you could see the difference.

More important is the simple fact that consumer debt in the US is higher than ever and the combination of these 2 facts and the possibility of increased unemployment will cause far greater economic problems than those that occurred after WWII.

You still have not commented on the fact that the deficit is greater than 20% and not the 13% you stated.
