AO MOSENERGO has fully completed the preparation of heating grids for the new heating season. From the start of the maintenance campaign, AO MOSENERGO's specialists found and eliminated more than 4,000 of pipe damage. Today, all 2,400 km of the Company's grid pipelines are fully prepared for winter operation.

Yesterday AO MOSENERGO resumed the hot water supply to the last 40 municipal houses in the Moscow Central Administrative District. At the same time, a number of residential blocks still have no water. The Ministry of Nuclear Power and the Ministry of Defense, which own these houses, have not so far paid for consumed power.

In early August, AO MOSENERGO and the residential department of the Ministry of Defense agreed to restructure the latter's debt, as well as procedures for resuming hot water supply to the residential premises. As of today, the hot water supply has been resumed at 38 houses owned by the Ministry of Defense. But 38 houses belonging to the Ministry still have no hot water, as the Ministry's distributor is slow to settle its debts for heat that was consumed last winter.

Further, 15 houses owned by the Ministry of the Nuclear Power also have no hot water. The Ministry has made no effort to settle the debt problem. AO MOSENERGO hopes that the Ministry will make every effort possible to provide hot water to these houses before the winter comes.
