Any feedback on this on IMR:
1530, "The drill results on this property will be BONANZA GRADE , All the info so far point to this result..." I agree 100%. No one can questions that. That's the easy part. The hard part is proving whether or not the associated, large body intrusives shown by geophysics are composed of similar, or otherwise economic combinations of metals. That's where tonnage can be shown and may not be disputed easily. It's the kind of result that hole #2 at Voisey's Bay had on the stock of Diamond Fields Resources, sending it up 4,800% in two years. It also remains the reason why I will continue to hold at least some of this stock regardless of how high the hype takes it ahead of the next lab report.
I will repeat, however, that the geophysics which suggest this, is not reliable. The metals that may enter the veins associated with these strucures can have percolated outward from the center in such a way as to concentrate the precious metals in the veins, or some of the veins, while leaving behind large concentrations of base, or uneconomic minerals. This is more likely to be the case in the presence of lead.
If IMR drilling shows these large intrusives to be uneconomic, or of just marginal interest, then the company has the burden of trying to make a mine from the extensive system of veins found throughout the claims area. That is not as easy as some are wont to believe. |
