But Jobs is a hard act to follow. Does anyone want to call up Ray Noorda and ask him if he's willing to help Schmidt rebuild the company without stealing the show? I think Noorda is still stuck back where Jobs was before he got so involved in Pixar. But if he could break with the idea of "give me back my company" and just do what Jobs did---committ himself to saving the company he once built from scratch --- letting someone else provide the future direction....then maybe. I know there are people out there that want Noorda back in the picture. Who knows if they read any of this?
