the war with China has begun, finally
Congressional Reps are now using words like...
extortion
stealing jobs
theft of capital
40% subsidy

in 1999 we begged China to help reduce our perceived inflationary threat on the product side
what a joke?
the inflation was all in financial assets
now 4 years later, China is running an annual $120B trade surplus with USA
what a joke?

Congress is threatening a trade tariff on Chinese goods
what a joke?
I would love to see that
THE CONSEQUENCE WOULD BE A VIRTUAL HALT IN CHINESE RECYCLE INTO TREZ BONDS AND AGENCY BONDS
that would result in a full 1% rise in Trez yields and mortgage rates

OUR LEADERS IN INSANELY STUPID
we are biting at the heels of our creditors
dont they realize we are a bankrupt nation?
we need approx $5 billion per day of foreign capital
the common number heard is $3 billion per day

$500B trade gap
$500B federal deficit
$800B in mortgage funds
-----
$1800B per year = $5B/day

it takes a long time for a former empire to fade
that is my father's new view
I have finally gotten to him with my steady arguments
he saw the fade in the British Empire

this nation will be coming down down down, hard hard hard
