EU clears path for Abbott's Humira Chicago Business By Kelly Quigley September 10, 2003 Abbott Laboratories on Wednesday said it has won regulatory approval to sell its blockbuster rheumatoid arthritis drug Humira throughout the European Union, where some 2.5 million people suffer from the debilitating disease.
