Ciena just offshored 2 development projects to Wipro india and laid off the US team. This is optical networking, new generation stuff. So what are we in the US? You know what I think we are? I think we are IBM in 85 with the PC. IBM farmed out the chips to intel and the OS to msft and it worked for awhile, IBM raked in the profits. The msft and intel decided they didn't need IBM anymore.
