I find your honesty quite refreshing.
The KKK had two types: the WhiteTrash Racists, and the SuitAndTie Racists. The first type were so obvious, so crude and ugly, they repelled anyone with even a bit of Christian Charity. But the SuitAndTie Racists, like David Duke, they are clever, articulate, smooth, insidious. They are the truly dangerous ones, because you've got to peal off many layers of rationalization and misdirection, to uncover the ugly core.
You are entirely correct. It isn't about freedom, or religion, or oil, or Israel. It's about turf and control. Who has the "whip hand". Who gets to do the lynchings, and who submits and cowers in fear. You make it so clear. |
