the chip or mote or what ever is on you...

You understand that the guy is good at his job, likes his job, has ample clientele to be considered a professional success; yet, you say he should leave to find a more suitable job...Your only qualifier is that he does not accept female clients as a matter of conscience.

From his view point he does not believe men massaging women is an innocuous activity of merely relieving cramps. If I were to do a survey, I believe that I would find a very high percentage of women who would find the activity more than innocuous, especially if the man were particularly interesting, charming, and handsome.

There was one straight man who cut women's hair in the college town I lived in in 1983. I happened to over hear a conversation among a group of girls at the student center regarding the titilation they got out of having their hair cut by him. My guess is that they would have denied it in a less candid interview, in which they could declare the PC unisex viewpoint. "Men fussing with my hair and listening to my tales of life, or women ... what difference?"

So in 2003 we have our masseuse, who's only fault is that he is not PC enough to pretend that there would be not tittilation in the process of rubbing down or whatever. Rather than invite the inevitable, he simply stands on his conscience and decides to refuse service to women.

You have already declared that as a matter of professional ethics if he perceives a problem in this area he should refuse services. He was raised in a culture that believes men putting there hands on women in isolation brings erotic risks that inevitably surface as emotional involvement. His experience has confirmed the belief. But you have a values conflict in your allegeance to PC. sorry
