Well............... that isn't what happened to us. We protested our bill and got it lowered and when the prices went back up all we got a bill for every year was an additional 2%.

We had TWO houses at the time. One we sold in 1998 and the other in 2000 and neither saw a big increase in taxes.... just the 2% per year.
