mr. mark, good post! Touchpad driver for Win XP: I found a download for a Synaptics touchpad driver for WinXP on the Dell web site support.dell.com I installed the driver and found when clicking its icon in systray I get a whole bunch of tabs - even for my optical mouse, all in one place. I could not find this driver elsewhere. Gottfried
