No surprise there... but even more so is Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, etc., 'infested' (to use your word). But free speech is supposed to be one of our defining values as a nation so, if our forces can identify 'al Qaeda' members there than arrest 'em, shoot 'em, whatever... but that's got little more to do with an independent news media in the Muslim world then the Bush family's historical financial ties to bin Laden family money do. Neither potential connection 'proves' that they ALL are al Qaeda connected.
