did the topic of doctors restricting physical examination to straight men come up?

I brought up doctors and EMS techs, and Jewel expressed some interest, but the discussion went elsewhere. I think it's abhorrent for them not to treat women or gays. I'd send them to jail. Massage therapists aren't quite in the same category, but they are medical service providers and I would expect them to act like professionals and treat all comers.

I'm assuming that we aren't talking about a patient who behaves inappropriately toward the masseur, or doctor

That also came up. I've been trying to make the point that it's one thing to deny service based on behavior and another to deny service to a whole category of people.
