Roe not being an original I can say I was a longtime lurker, on SD and then SDII. Who did I look for, the three amigoes ... iso, Roebear, and Slider. Notice the names are in alphabetical order.

I lurked for so long I finally decided to participate. The reason was quite simple, the three amigoes in my opinion helped me improve my skills, not just a little but a lot. I have to give credit where credit is due.

As for others that have assisted me in my learning, some names do come to mind .... Sharp, Shack, ATA, Zeev, Larry Dudash, aj, Shack, bcrafty, Shack, skinowski, The Freep, Shack ...., missing in action moonbeam, mishedlo especially via his Brian posts, John Maderez, AA, a few others I probably missed, and Shack again. The names are in no particular order, and there are lots of Shacks in there. More on that later.

I've never made it a habit of getting into scraps, rather try to make it a habit to just leave, when I see something undesirable developing. I can fight and very well, but my conclusion is that first and foremost it always takes more than one, and second .. if I am one of the participants I am hurting myself, as much as the other guy. A board scrap makes waves, and waves are composed of energy, and energy makes currents, and well currents affect stock prices ... that is as long as the waves are confined to the charts. When the waves are taking up board space the energy is going elsewhere, and I believe in the first law of thermodynamics (only so much energy available).

Why the so many Shacks and if so why am I going to post on iso's board, as well as others, and not for example just on Shack's.

Simple, Shack has helped me with skills I need to participate in an arena in which I am comfortable, with folks I have gotten along with quite well, and with folks I intend to continue getting along with. Shack has done a good enough job that I need him less than I used to. This does mean I will not post elsewhere or not get along with others. Far from it.

So to the future and cudoes to all that have assisted me, and I hope I have gained enough in knowledge and skills to the point that I can help a few others. Passing knowledge along does give one a certain feeling of satisfaction.

A good thing to always ask is why am 'I' here. For me the primary purpose is to make money. Sure I enjoy the chitchat, but I enjoy the learning more, and maybe the making money part the most. So I follow the money, first and foremost as best I know how.

Finally I'm moving on, and think it best for all to do the same.
