Only the Israelis have the ability to move to something else

So if the Israelis move "someplace else", while the Palestinians remain "in the grip of their most extreme elements," what do you think will happen? Or is that another question that I am not supposed to ask?

It takes two to tango, John. How many times have we seen the Israelis back off, begin to disengage, only to be answered by more terrorism? Hamas doesn't want a working 'peace process'. Neither does Arafat.

If you charted Israeli movements on a scale of backing off/making concessions vs. occupying/using force against a count of Israeli casualties, you would consistently find that every time the Israelis back off, Israeli casualties go up, not down.
