i'm really sorry to hear that your winter
experiences as a youth were so dismal.
i would like to think that had you not
lived in a midwest industrial city with
black snow you might have had fonder memories.

when i worked in nassau as a young adult i
missed the four seasons very much as i do to
a certain extent now, living on the west coast.
for me, too much of a good thing is not
necessarily a good thing.

to make a play on a quote by your illustrious
(tongue in cheek) leader, "bring it on" - winter
that is.
