" Canada has "stepped up to the plate" in such international hotspots as Iraq and Afghanistan "...

Well it seems your ambassador to Canada has the same illness your president has.He can't differentiate between Iraq and Afghanistan.

Canada has been taking part in Afghanistan for some time, but it took the Canadian PEOPLE to force the PM off his arse and get involved quicker than HE would have liked.

Democracy!

Canada also considered financial assistance to Iraq some time ago, but because we CAN tell the difference between what the fight in Iraq was about and what the fight in Afghanistan is about, the people wanted NO part of this ridiculous " war ".

Paul Cellucci has not yet leaned that Canadians by and large are better informed on world issues, with the media having a much more " fair and Balanced " approach to its reporting.

" stepped up to the plate ",,,,,indeed.

Harumph!
