Hello Jack,

I'll comment more in the next couple of posts, however I think that David has a small misunderstanding of directories and protocols. (It's easy with todays press and hype to get caught in it.)

From my looking around it appears to that IBM internally has five or more directory products. They have now also made an annoucement with Novell.

To me (both Novell biased and professionally) they had some internal groups that wanted to scramble to get a release out saying "We are going to pull all these products together!". I couldn't answer why NDS is not mentioned in the edited text that was posted, but maybe Joe could comment on IBM policy. Joe, does IBM enter into deals as a corporation? Or as individual divisions?

I do know that IBM will have NDS ... and many of our customers are excited!
