Hi Paul - Novell still has to show me the money! My guess is that by Q2 1998 the turn around MAY take place...50:50 chance.

Therefore I sold 1/2 of my position today looking to buy back (if the story is still positive) in late September or early October. My selling is based on tax loss selling and I still plan to sell the other 1/2 in the next 10-20 trading days.

Long...long term Novell has a 50:50 chance in implementing their 'new' business plan. As both you and Joe know I have been a very long term investor(Joe has it been three years now??) and will listen to all the positive hype....restructuring and new plans but in the final results YOU MUST SHOW ME THE MONEY!

My expectations is that Novell may be able to position this company with new revenue streams based on new products by Q2 1998. I believe their will be ample opportunity to get back in at lower levels.

For those short term investors, look at the complete picture. This company has to continue to do things right just to maintain current market share. I expect them to continue to loose market share to Microsoft and the NT platform until the new products are out.

Just one investor's opinion eventhough the basic fundamental assets look good...it is the free flow cash flow numbers that worry me.

Good luck to all those new investors as your expectations may indeed be too high...This investor is looking at SUNW as to future growth. You got to appreciate how SUNW has implemented their JAVA business model.
