High health care/drug profits are a HUGE part of the budget problem, that and the war are our biggest budget busters now. If you go to Canada the same drugs are half price, for instance. A strong president should insist Americans get the good deals too. But Bush takes way too much $$$ from the drug companies to do this. Ditto the HMO's. Ditto the defense contractors. Energy would also be a huge savings source, but first we need to invest and conserve. That takes disipline and ingenuity.
