Maybe I'm off-base, but it seems the last two months that gold is trading with an inverse correlation to bonds, not so much the dollar. Much ballyhoo there is about gold being an alternative "currency", but maybe it's seeing more action right now as "financial insurance" for equities traders, who formerly parked their emergency capital in bonds. Just an idea. crusty
