I thought my 16 word sentence was fairly clear! But I will paraphrase it for your benefit:

If I told you that the reason I did not apply my professional skills to your grandma's needs was due to her gender (being a woman) would you feel less justified in your reproach? In other words...if I did not treat her (because I don't treat ANY women...due to a sexual hangup I have with treating people who are women) would you be more understanding and less hateful?" Would you consider my sexual hang-ups to justify my unprofessional treatment, or lack of treatment? If I claimed that my lack of treatment was based on my sensitivity to the fact that women are a different sex than me would that satisfy you? Not that your grandma was actually acting out sexually...but just that she was a WOMAN.
