Isn't it absolutely amazing that this type of thing is rarely covered in the media and almost never commented about in message boards. Thank you for your post.

I believe we handled the PR of the war very badly and would have been better served putting more effort in appearing less "cowboyesque." However, as you state, the bottom line is that millions of people no longer fear instant execution, torture or rape at the hands of Saddam, Uday and Quesay.

We have sent a message that those who are friendly to terrorists, even if it is only to send them money for being suicide bomber families, will meet the wrath of ole Uncle Sam. The Saudis, who are probably the biggest terror supporters, are certainly more cautious now.

All that has to be a good thing.
