Chinu, everybody - the intelligence servicess of every Western country - believed Saddam had WMDs, not just the US and UK. Debka says the stuff was trucked into the Bekaa in January. Eventually we'll find out. As for the unranium/Africa story, one set of docs was forged; but the Brits say they have others, and are sticking by their story.

So whom do you believe.

I look at underlying beliefs, and patterns of behavior, what makes the guy tick. Both Blair & Bush, imo, have hyped and spun their arguments trying to present a war of choice as a war of necessity, but both are working from deep & sincere beliefs that the war was necessary for our safety.

The Saudis practice hypocrisy and denial on world-class levels. Their interior minister still says that the Jews were behind 9/11. How long did it take them to admit that 15 of the hijackers were actually Saudis? Not tough to figure out where they're coming from.
