This article 'Cowboy and Country' summarizes things well... uictoday.net <<...Mr. Bush was hell bent on going to war, even though it was not a war of necessity. He has put the U.S. in this predicament, and now, has the gall to ask the very countries he alienated to make financial, political, and human sacrifices to resolve it. Translation: "Support sending foreign soldiers to Iraq to share in the uncontrollable bloodshed, so that some of the heat will be taken off of me at home!"
