<If it brings about a safer Iraq without political influence on how Iraq turns out and we get out faster, than why not let them in?>

There is an old expression in politics: "You dance with the one who brung you". Bush and Cheney's personal and political fortunes are completely tied to the companies that "brung them" into power and will look after their "rettirement" from politics. The favorites of other political leaders from other countries will not be let in because it is not in the personal interests of Bush and Cheney. That they would put their personal interests first when the lives of young Americans are being lost might seem to be an outrage, but money talks in US politics, and big oil money talks big in Republican Presidential politics.
