I can only imagine the motivation of France to get Iraqi's in charge ASAP is good for France somehow. I hope the Iraqi's who end up in charge remember very well who voted to keep them under the reign of terror.

Don't you notice the contradiction between those two sentences? If France ought to be afraid of a self-ruling Iraq because contracts might be lost then why are they pushing for a power transfer to the Iraqi people?

Let the Iraqi's remember who signed contracts that will not stand up to a competitive bidding process now.

So reconstruction jobs are currently in an open bidding process?
