I keep wanting to find some real facts and real analysis. So far, a lot of mixed metaphors, a lot of lost decisions and a lot of sour grapes when the decisions go against the conspiracy theorists.

I myself am very skeptical of governments in general. However, spinning something out of nothing does not solve the problem. The post a couple back which said something like "documents reveal administration fought war for oil" actually had no documents from the administration that said that.

The articles cited or the commentators allege that things are hidden. The only document cited was something from a war college and that was a vague reference.

Now, I agree things should not be hidden and think this whole secrecy thing just makes it bad for those who try to hide.

However, the reality is that there are no administration documents that show that the war was fought for oil, or because they were blackmailed by Israel, or any other similarly posited theory.
