Lieberman is still the best-known name. What Deanies and others in the angry left don't seem to realize is that there is one third of the dem party which is actually pretty conservative, including a lot of religious people and pro-military types. Remember, half the Christians in this country are actually liberals. My family's connected with the church and there are not very many Bush supporters amongst their kind. Plus the older conservative Jews, etc. They respect Lieberman though I doubt many of them are passionately behind him.

What we need is a candidate who can unite the 5-6 sides of the party plus draw in moderate independents and others fed up with Bush.
