Kerry-Clark or maybe Kerry-Graham can beat Bush, but I don't know about any of the others. The poll today showing Bush with high-high ratings on military issues despite all his failures makes me realize we HAVE to have someone who can take that issue away from him. Kerry is the best bet as I don't believe Clark has a snowball's chance to get nominated. Dean and the others are fine men, but they're all military wimps compared to Bush except Lieberman who's a big fuddy-duddy. Kerry-Clark would stop Bush dead in his tracks in terms of military campaigning. If he tried to don the flight suit again they'd rip him to shreds. Make no mistake too, this war is going to keep going for years. But we need new leadership which doesn't alienate the entire world in the process. That will save hundreds of billions and many lives ove the years.
