It seems that the basic argument of the cut and paste Israel haters is that the neocons are controlled by the Israeli lobby. You have posted something which I believe says that this Israeli control preceded the current administration.

The reality is that you are right in saying that every single administration, republican or democratic, conservative or liberal, along with every single Congressional seating, has supported a strong Israel and its right to exist from the moment of its founding. Some have been stronger supporters than others and the times have led to differences between friends. However, if your point is that the Government of the US, in whatever form or branch, has supported Israel, then you will get no argument here.

Why should this strong support surprise you? Every opinion poll since Israel's formation, has shown strong support by the US population, of which there has never been more than a 3% Jewish subset, irrespective of which administration was in power at the time.

Now perhaps instead of coming up with convoluted conspiracy theories, the better approach would be to admit that perhaps the American people believe that this is the "right" thing to do.
