On the bright side, at least I have ADSL for 60 bucks a month with unlimited access. :) I am paying $50 for Roadrunner through the good old "Time Warner" Cable co. total cable bill runs about 100 with HBO. Service is excellent. Why am I not surprised at your tale of woe about utilities? Common throughout Europe. When I read the phony articles put out by Social Scientists here and abroad about "quality of life" comparisons, I know they never include these type of stats.
