How was your hammer swinging this weekend?

It was great. We got a lot done. We are building two
sheds out of lumber. This weekend we did the roof. My
back and legs are sore today but must say it was good
exercise with all the climbing up and down the ladder.

My thumb took a walloping but has stopped throbbing...

I wish I could work in the Adirondacks. It was so peaceful.

I'm recharged.

P.S. Speaking of lumber... I noticed that the price of
plywood has jumped approx. 50% in the past couple of months
or so. The dude behind the counter at the lumber yard
said he heard it has to do with the amount of lumber we are
sending to Iraq to help with the rebuilding. Perhaps this
is Shrub's plan to help keep the economy going...

However I see it as a way to see the brakes get applied
here at home in one of the only industries that have been
booming. Builders will be taking a beating on the jobs
they already won bids on but have not started. Home
improvements are gonna be more and more expensive
especially if interest rates keep heading back up.

I wonder if the tariffs on Rosie's lumber will stay on?
How deep must the lumber industry be in Shrub's pocketbook...

I wonder if I'll ever be able to figure this stuff out in
advance so I can prosper in these presidential decisions...
