Clinton did not get any money personally from Marc Rich. His library got some, about one tenth of what Bush took from Enron and about one fifth of what Trent Lott got from WorldCom.

Also, there are rumors Marc Rich is a Mossad operative and that the Israelis were the ones who intervened on his behalf. Could be some truth in that.

For the GOP to complain about pardoning tax cheats is laughable. Halliburton type countries do everything they can to keep their money in offshore tax havens. Much of the billions made in Iraq will be kept offshore and not taxed.

Besides, all presidents leave us with controversial pardons, including every Republican president. doesn't make it right, but it is a fact.
