there is no denying the relative weakness banks are displaying:

of the eight bank stocks shown to be suffering worse than the banking index itself, BAC has the largest total of insider sales over the past six months. JPM is a distant second.. finance.yahoo.com

same data set, different metric: sales this past quarter by institutions in USB were dramatically larger than for any of the other banks.. WB also saw selling, but USB trumped its total by a factor of ~7 .. several of the other banks saw net purchases.. finance.yahoo.com

as of the last reporting, CMA has far more cash per share than the others. 26 dollars thereabouts.. BAC has about half that amount.. USB has the least amount of cash per share, 6 bux when last reported. NCC is in the same condition.. finance.yahoo.com
