Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:
Ready? Here we go :0)
I got on the plane from HK to Beijing, and figured on doing a bit of light work upon getting to the hotel.
The flight was pleasant. I watched “The Italian Job” for the second time, and enjoyed it as much as the first time. I was able to absorb the essence of the movie the second time around. You know, getting wealth off some one through superior gaming.
I have always enjoyed that genre of cinema: Anderson Tapes, The Italian Job, The Thomas Crown Affair, etc.
Upon landing, I struggled with my other self, trying truly to refrain from turning on my geewhizbang cellular phone to check on what I promised myself to stop checking. You can well imagine the shock and awe when I became aware of the closing price of Lumacom uk.finance.yahoo.com … AUD 0.83/shr, up another AUD 0.12/shr, or another wallop of 184% gain over my original cost basis.
Needless to say, I figured I do not need to put in an honest day’s work today, again, just like all the days last week. I will instead rest up, and do some partying later.
The theme music of “The Italian Job” is playing in my seared mind, over and again, and then once more amazon.com
<<"Money" as performed in the Italian Job is by a band called Velvet Revolver - which is the original Guns 'N Roses lineup with frontman Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots fame>>
Is what we do day in and night out in the market place via on-line machines so different than what the gang did in The Italian Job?
Anyhow, even though I had deleted the stock symbol of LUM.AX from my MS Money program so the asset value no longer updates with 20 minute delay, I cannot help but update the closing price manually, just to see.
