MEDI gained 11.35% for the week ending 9-12-03. Biotechnology stocks in general closed up over the week. The AMEX Biotechnology Index (BTK) increased 2.41%, while the BioBizNet Select Index (BBNSI) soared 2.99%. Big gainers were STEM, VLGC, MEDI, other (see biobiznet.com). This marks five weeks in a row of solid gains for the biotech sector.
