The POSSE 4.8 release features a Contact Manager module that sales professionals can use to track clients and prospects and target new revenue-generating opportunities. The release also features enhanced order inquiry and audit functions that firms can use to track order activities, from order entry through execution. (Logo: newscom.com ) The addition of the POSSE Contact Manager gives sales professionals the ability to manage every facet of prospect and customer relationships, and provides cost savings to firms, who will no longer need to purchase and run separate software. Sales professionals can use contact profiling categories to generate lists and reports for sales activities. The Contact Manager is accessible throughout POSSE, making it easy for brokers to add notes, make changes, or add a new contact at a moment's notice.
The POSSE 4.8 release also improves a broker's ability to stay on top of orders through advanced open order and order history search functions. A new order audit trail function provides a snapshot look at all order transactions relevant to filling the original order. The sales force, compliance officers, and other firm personnel can easily trace orders and view all applicable details, from order origination to fill.
An enhancement to the POSSE Portfolio module allows sales professionals to select a specific tax lot to sell for a client, overriding previously defined FIFO, LIFO, or average cost accounting defaults. In addition, POSSE now supports single stock futures trading.
