life will go on, to be sure
self-protection will first and foremost having money in your pocket
that means your top priorities should be

1. owning gold or gold miners
2. having limited amount of money in banks
3. having another passport to get far away from USA

not much else one can do
stay west of New York City
I truly believe it will end up like a crisp
islands in Polynesia or Caribbean are on my mind
