that's why i can support neither party. i can't understand any circumstances where a clown owning a $50k car ought to get money from me when i work and have driven a car i paid $5500 for in 1995. it likely isn't worth $1k right now, if that.

yes, giving suv drivers a tax break is dumber on the dumb, dumber, dumbest scale.

giving the wealthiest 1% or 2% half of bush's tax break was dumbest on that scale. bush promised us lots of jobs and we've seen further retraction.

more supply makes no sense in an overcapacity environment and that is what we are in. of course, the dems weren't smart enough to articulate that position on a widespread basis, if they even thought deeply enough to figure it out.

somehow, i think some folks back in rome would recognize lots of our society today.
