Sometimes the 9th Circuit is so patently absurd it's funny.

They have stopped the recall election because some jurisdictions are still using the punchcard ballots which they claim are less than perfect, and that not all counties have yet switched to different voting systems.

Of course, Gov. Gray was elected by a process in which many MORE counties used the punchcard elections. So the recall election, while perhaps not totally perfect (what election ever has been or will be?), would be much fairer and more accurate than the election under which Gray was elected.

But that, of course, isn't good enough for the 9th circuit, which leans so far to the left it make the USSC seem moderate.
