Bald Eagle, I'm sure that you're right; Iraqis will certainly spend some of their money on some U.S. manufactured goods. It will not, however, mean a 2% increase in U.S. gdp. That kind of impact assumes cheap world oil and that assumes U.S. control of Iraqi oil sales. There's no other explanation for that projection.
