Of course the caveat is that half of last quarter's GDP growth was due to increased military spending. Trimtabs notes retail investors still shifting out of bonds and into stocks. Hope they don't get clobbered again. With the huge gains in the market so far, hard to see how the market has that much farther to run. Of course, I said this to myself last month in August, and then before that in July, and then before that in June.... I tell you one area I really, really, screwed up in was in the Chinese Internet stocks. I looked at them in the spring and decided to pass on them because many of them were already up 50%. Wish I knew then what I know now, that those stocks were just getting started. Wish I had been dumb enough to just throw a little money over in that sector! Peter.
