Beachside, I'm extremely worried about the long bond and interest rates. I attribute the low volume to investors taking less of a risk on small caps like Cube when rates rise. I see a BEAR MARKET beginning in earnest anytime from Sept 97- Feb 98. I'm hedged for this possibility but still very worried for my couple of longs, like Cube.I have a few friends here in NYC who are big bond traders. After a few drinks, they casually refer to themselves as "gunslingers". I'm sitting here now wondering how high rates have to go before the gun gets pointed at Cube. Yes, I am a chartist and Cubes chart looks magnificient. But there are factors like interest rates that can affect the chart. I respect your thoughts ( as you know) and insightful analysis. Very worried, but still extremely bullish and long on Cube. Be good.
