I don't know why the auto makers didn't go at the union with guns blazing. Let them go on strike for Christs sake. They are over producing and can't stop due to their bizarre contracts. Last I heard they had 130 days inventory on the ground and they want to be under 90 as a rule. Big rebates, 0 financing for 60 months and they are still building faster then they can sell. Let em walk.
