If the winds are high enough, boarding up your windows isn't going to help. If it's a small enough storm, sure, it'll do some good. I've been through 7 or 8 hurricanes starting with Carla and have seen first hand what happens. Do you think this guy's house would have been better off with his windows boarded up? jimzura.com
