The Democrats are in danger of being destroyed in 2004, and the two-party system with them. That would be a long-term negative for the country

If the inevitable series of scandals break it could go the other way, the GOP completely discredited, which would also, I agree, be a negative for the country.

We need vigorous opposition from at least one party especially when the other has autocratic control of all branches of gov't. So far, we don't have such opposition.

Unless you somehow think the Dems are putting any sort of opposition ??

So far, the Dem opposition is pretty much a joke, as are the Congressional jellyfish of both parties, IMO
