The thing that I was arguing with him, and you too, was his presumption that a massage was an inherently charged scenario. There is no principle in that--it's an opinion or an assessment or a POV, not a principle, and anyway, we've already beaten that to death. Since he claims his guy is standing up for a principle, let's see what it is, minus all the smoke and red herrings.
