WASHINGTON, DC — Plenary, automotive and keynote speakers have been announced for EVS-20: Powering Sustainable Transportation, to be held in Long Beach, California from November 15-19, 2003. A complete list of plenary session speakers and biographies is available at www.evs20.org.

Of particular note, Hollywood director, producer and electric drive advocate Rob Reiner will keynote the Opening Plenary session on Monday, November 17, joined by international leaders from the automotive, technology development and energy sectors. Mr. Reiner is a recognized and active civic leader and environmentalist, even “walking the talk” by driving a Toyota Prius hybrid electric vehicle.
